Well episode two has been watched.
My thoughts on it, in chronological order, were:
Completely expected that the world is green Was surprised that the sheriff still collapsed Unbelievable cringe speech from the strong guy to the fighting mob. Calling their part of the silo the “down deep” as opposed to the “mids” or “up top”. Seriously, the silo has fewer levels than many office blocks, there’s no need to resort to Snowpiercer levels of segregation1. “Here in the down deep we just get. shit. done.” Urghhh that’s already knocked three or four points off of the score Lots of shouty swearing I can’t stop seeing that mayor as the “bitty” mummy from Little Britain Just realised the other sheriff guy is that astronaut-driller from Armageddon Is the guy from Spooks name really “Wholesome”? Getting pretty sick of hearing about this “rebellion” without being given more info Black Panthers? In my silo? It’s more likely than you think Not really enjoying watching Rebecca Ferguson shouting, screaming, or moping about all over the place The writers are using this old workshop woman to accelerate through Rebecca Ferguson’s character development so fast I’ve got whiplash, terrible writing So much exposition dump it is making me want to just turn it off Subtle hand touching - show, don’t tell, very good “Everyone knows about us” - oh ok, tell, don’t show then, I guess It was here that the episode took a turn for the better.
